PIMS STUDENT RECEIVES WVFDA SCHOLARSHIP
PIMS student, Christopher Newsome of Logan County, WV, was recently awarded a scholarship from the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association (WVFDA).
Chris was presented this award at the recent WVFDA 124th annual convention in Morgantown, WV.
Christopher has been employed with Akers-James funeral Home in Logan WV since 2015 and is currently enrolled in PIMS online program.
Congratulations to Christopher for being selected for the scholarship, and many thanks to WVFDA for their investment in funeral service education.
