Full Job Description	A local, fast paced office is seeking a full-time autopsy technician who can uphold a strict level of confidentiality, and develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele. The candidate must have the ability to work with potential biohazardous material and maintain medicolegal confidentiality. The autopsy technician will assist with sudden, unexplained, suspicious, unnatural, unlawful, and violent deaths that occur in our service area. The autopsy technician is responsible for assisting the forensic pathologists with x-rays, fluid draws, evisceration, evidence collection, and other tasks related to forensic examination of a body. The autopsy technician would be performing gross anatomic dissections, collecting and preserving biological specimens and evidence, obtaining photographs, and completing necessary documentation. The position also requires a clean and organized autopsy suite before and after examinations. This position is full-time, with occasional weekend work possible.
