Full Job Description	We are a family owned funeral home & crematory that is seeking to add a PA Licensed Funeral Director to our staff. We serve families of all faiths, and our business is steadily growing. Our FD is detail oriented, professional, and capable of performing or learning all aspects of funeral directing. Primary duties include: at-need and pre-need arrangement conferences, conducting funerals, embalming, dressing, cosmetic work, tending visitations, assisting with removals, and completing all necessary paperwork. Complete customer satisfaction is paramount. Job prerequisites: – Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and periodic testing – PA Funeral Director’s license or for Intern, having passed the National Board Exam – A professional appearance based on traditional expectations – Excellent oral and written communication skills – Valid PA driver’s license with a safe and responsible driving record – Thorough understanding of PA Funeral Law – Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and familiar with EDRS and database software – Ability to do heavy lifting The FD must be kind, personable, neat, energetic, and must have interpersonal communication skills. Company owned housing available to full-time employees.
