In September 2015, after graduating summa cum laude from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Brigitte Morgan join the staff at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., in York, Pennsylvania as an Intern Funeral Director and Certified Crematory Operator. In January 2016, she attended the In-Sight Institute Certified Celebrant Training. As a Certified Celebrant, Brigitte is uniquely able to assist families who are not a member of a church or simply do not wish to have a religious service. She works with families to create a meaningful tribute that reflects the personality and life-style of the deceased.

Upon becoming a licensed funeral director, Brigitte relocated to Renovo, Pennsylvania, to work at Heffner affiliate locations, Maxwell Funeral Home in Renovo and Helt Funeral Chapel, Inc. in Mill Hall.

Brigitte is involved in her community as a member of the Renovo Rotary Club and the Business Professional Women’s Foundation. She is a native of Latrobe, Pennsylvania and an Alumni of Chatham University. Brigitte has continued her Army Reserve commitment as a Public Affairs Sgt. in the Army Reserve and will be deployed to the Middle East in 2018. Brigitte looks forward to returning to her community and the families she has the honor to serve.
