Leaving Our Classroom and Entering the Profession: Commemorating Our January Graduates

One of the most meaningful moments at PIMS is the opportunity to celebrate our students as they reach this milestone. Graduation represents the culmination of dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of focused work—and it’s a moment we are always proud to share.

On Friday, January 9, 2026, at noon, we will come together at Calvary Episcopal Church, 315 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, to recognize the accomplishments of our January graduates.  The Commencement Speaker will be Korynne L. Young, who is both a licensed funeral director and the Butler County Coroner.

This day is more than a ceremony. It marks the transition from student to professional, as our graduates step forward prepared to serve families and communities with knowledge, care, and professionalism. Their journey at PIMS has equipped them with both the technical skills and the compassion essential to funeral service.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be livestreamed on TikTok. Follow our official account, @PIMSTOK, to be part of the celebration wherever you are. Use the QR code below to connect with our livestream.

To our January graduates—congratulations on this well-earned achievement. We are proud of what you’ve accomplished and excited to see where your path leads next.
